We have been looking at ways of how to improve our patient experience. We have reviewed our latest patient survey, the national GP Survey results and patient feedback and a key area is the length of time patients are having to wait on the phone in a queue before they get to speak to our reception team.
We are moving to a cloud based system called Surgery Connect, a NHS Digital approved system. As well as many benefits for us at the practice it will allow patients to ring us and request via the system a patient call back. You don’t lose your place in the queue, the system will automatically call you when its your turn.
There should be limited disruption on Tuesday.
